View-FM
View-FM is a unique “read only” application that allows plans to be distributed, viewed,
and used effectively by a non-technical audience. Users can "redline" drawings
creating "what-if" scenarios without changing the drawing of record. All information from the floor plan is available
for display and local output, as is space-related data elements from other databases. Users can create,
place and query locally developed symbols and data unique to their own needs. When a floor plan is
replaced by a newer, updated one, locally created items are not affected. Powerful ad-hoc graphic queries
give a new dimension to facilities information. Through pull-down menus and a mouse, users calculate areas,
view departmental allocations, and produce colorful displays of architectural uses.
